Referrals
MHAMH accepts referrals from a wide range of sources, aiming to make our program accessible to as many clients as possible. Below are the available pathways to refer someone to our services.
Who can refer?
Clients may be referred by any active physician, psychiatrist, or care team from inpatient hospital units, emergency departments, urgent care centers, as well as family or private practices.
Acceptance Requirements

All clients must have an active Alberta Health Care number/coverage.

All clients must have a family physician.

All clients must have stable housing.

Client must be proficient in English reading and writing skills.

Between the ages of 18 and 65.

Do not refer intrusive psychosis.

Brain injury dependent on assessment.
