Referrals
MHAMH takes referrals from numerous sources. Our goal is to make the program accessible to as many clients as possible. See below for the ways to be referred to the program.
Who can refer?
Clients can be referred from any active physician, psychiatrist or care team from inpatient hospital units, emergency departments, urgent care facilities and family or private practices.
Acceptance Requirements

All clients must have an active Alberta Health Care number/coverage.

All clients must have a family physician.

All clients must have stable housing.

Client must be proficient in English reading and writing skills.

Between the ages of 18 and 65.

Do not refer intrusive psychosis.

Brain injury dependent on assessment.
